Chess Club Wins!
On Saturday, January 24th, the Individual regional qualifier for the Tennessee State Chess championships was held at Wright Middle School.  The top eight finishers in each division will go to "state", and four of our students scored well enough to qualify.  In the Elementary division, Christopher Welch and Kirthi Narayanan made the cut, and Henry Melzer is the first alternate.  Joey Santoro and Aditya Gudibanda will play in the Junior High division.  Congratulations to these students, and good luck in Cookeville on February 14th!!!

Congratulations to Brianna Bartelt and Annika Adams on being selected as a finalist for the Starts of the Future: Nashville's Citywide Youth Talent Show! The purpose of the talent show is to promote the talents of a diverse group of young people in a safe and drug free environment. These young ladies were selected as one of only two Middle School acts to compete for the final competition, which is November 8.

Congratulations to Claire Shifley, Sara Cullem, Christian Moore, Meg Smith, Victoria Manning, John Millard, Sydney Lincoln, and Jelissa Baidoo. These students were selected to perform with the Middle Tennessee Vocal Association Elementary Honors Choir. They were selected from over 200 auditioning students. Way to go! Mrs. Egerton is proud of everyone who auditioned.
